I currently work as an Economist at the International Monetary Fund. Previously, I was an Assistant Professor of Economics and an Affiliate Faculty of Environmental Studies at Washington and Lee University. I am a fellow at the Center for Development Economics and Policy at Columbia University and a Research Affiliate at the Earth Institute. Prior to W&L, I worked at Princeton University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. I received a Ph.D. from Columbia University and a B.A. with Distinction from the University of California, Berkeley.

My research combines economics, climate science, and data science to inform sustainable and equitable economic development with a particular focus on climate and energy policy. I am passionate about translating scientific evidence into actionable solutions for positive environmental and social change.
